About us
This research group aims to identify and characterize zoonotic viruses present in urban rodent populations in the city of São Paulo, integrating molecular, serological, and ecological surveillance. This approach makes it possible to understand the circulation of potentially emerging pathogens and the environmental factors that influence their spread. The resulting data support strategies for the prevention and control of zoonotic diseases.
