About Us
This research group investigates pathogen–host interactions, with a primary focus on drug discovery for bacterial infections. By combining cell biology methods, high-throughput screening and automated microscopy, the group seeks to identify host mechanisms that enable intracellular colonization by pathogenic bacteria. The team investigates compounds capable of modulating host processes and revealing new therapeutic pathways for chronic and resistant infections.
