The Institut Pasteur de São Paulo (IPSP) is a private, non-profit association, founded on March 31, 2023 by the Institut Pasteur, a French foundation under private law, and the University of São Paulo, a Brazilian teaching and research institution. Based at the University of São Paulo, in the capital of São Paulo, Brazil, IPSP develops world-class research in Biological Sciences on communicable, non-communicable, emerging, re-emerging, neglected or progressive diseases, including those that lead to developmental impairment or degeneration of the neurological system. Its aim is to develop preventive, diagnostic/prognostic and therapeutic methods in relation to the diseases studied, promoting innovation, transfer and dissemination of knowledge, in favor of public health. The IPSP is part of the Pasteur Network made up of 33 research institutes, present in 25 countries. MISSION
