This research group study in the One Health perspective the Influenza A spillover seeking to understand the risk of zoonotic potential of some viral lineages by monitoring and active surveillance in different wild and domestic hosts, including migratory and passeriform birds, poultry, bats and other mammals. The acronym SIMBA means Spillover, surveillance, monitoring and zoonotic potential analysis of Influenza A virus in Migratory birds, Bats and other mAmmals
