The Institut Pasteur de São Paulo (IPSP) has an open Postdoctoral position (3-year FAPESP fellowship) within the MICRONATIB project.
The position focuses on deciphering the mechanisms of action of Brazilian natural compounds against the intracellular form of pathogenic bacteria, using Cell Painting — a state-of-the-art, high-dimensional image-based morphological profiling assay. This is a topic of high scientific relevance and potential impact in the fields of infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance.
We are looking for candidates with experience in data analysis, bioinformatics or big data. Previous experience in fluorescence microscopy, microbiology/parasitology and drug testing will be considered an advantage.
