The Executive Director of the Institut Pasteur de São Paulo (IPSP), Paola Minoprio, and Gérard Chuzel, Head of Project Management, attended the ceremony in Piracicaba honoring Thaís Vieira’s distinguished career and celebrating scientific cooperation between Brazil and France.
Professor Thaís Maria Ferreira de Souza Vieira, Director of the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (Esalq/USP), who serves on the Scientific Council of the Institut Pasteur de São Paulo (IPSP) and is an active contributor to its activities, was awarded the insignia of Chevalier (Knight) of the Order of Agricultural Merit on July 7 in Piracicaba, São Paulo. The distinction is one of the French government’s highest honors in the field of agriculture. The ceremony was presided over by Philippe Mauguin, President of the French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment (INRAE).
