About the event: Institut Pasteur de São Paulo (IPSP) and Institut Pasteur de Montevideo (IPMon) will hold the first joint scientific meeting between the two institutions. The event will bring together researchers from Brazil and Uruguay to share findings, identify complementary expertise and foster new collaborative projects on infectious diseases.
The programme will cover One Health, the emergence of viruses and other pathogens, environmental surveillance, artificial intelligence, multi-omics and the effects of climate change on health. Discussions will also address infection models, immunology, vaccines, RNA virus engineering, drug discovery and platforms supporting translational research and innovation.
The meeting will conclude with a roundtable on joint funding opportunities, shared research infrastructure and exchanges involving researchers and students. The event aims to strengthen scientific cooperation between Brazil and Uruguay and expand the participation of South American institutions in the Pasteur Network.
